Saturn and Mercury

Saturn - During the 1990's Omnilife pioneered the Saturn policy range to meet a growing demand from pilots seeking a policy which would give them life cover as well as loss of licence protection and a good return on their investment premium over a period of years. Combined with guaranteed career long cover and fixed premiums for the life of the policy, the arrival of the Saturn range was a turning point in the loss of licence insurance market and its appeal to aircrew has been marked by the great success of the policy since its launch.

In addition to most of the benefits outlined in the "Standalone" policy, the Saturn policies also provide the following valuable features:

Permanent to retirement age, with no need for renewal.
Premiums are fixed for the complete duration of the policy.
The level of loss of licence protection does not reduce with age.
Saturn guarantees a lump sum payment when the policy matures. This may be considerably greater than the total of premiums paid.
Saturn builds cash values which may yield investment returns greater than the guaranteed maturity sum.
Comprehensive Life insurance cover is included.
Change of employer or location does not affect the policy cover.
One proposal form needed, at inception only, in every case.

Mercury - The Mercury plans are identical to their equivalent Saturn versions in the respect of terms, conditions and cover. They are designed for Air Traffic Control Officers holding an appropriate civil licence.
